The SCOPE sensor costs 4,000 yen per unit and uses an inexpensive Raspberry Pi as the edge device. However, being inexpensive alone does not enable a small start. It is important to easily purchase and increase the number of sensors. The SCOPE sensor has a magnet embedded in its case, and measurement begins simply by attaching it to a (steel) bearing part.
